FUMC has an active Sunday School Program for children preK-high school and adults.
As part of our commitment to Radical Hospitality, all children are welcome. Please feel free to discuss any special needs your child may have with our Sunday School teachers.
We are committed to the physical, emotional and spiritual safety of our children and youth. All volunteers are background checked and trained in FUMC's Child Safety Policy. Call the office to review or receive a full copy of the policy.
Nursery Care is provided year-round during all services for children ages 0-3.
Pre K-Grade 12
During the school year children preK-grade 12 begin the 9:30 service with their families, joining the Church Family to share 'Joys and Thanksgivings' and sing praise songs. After joining Rev. Rob for a special message, they head to Sunday School with their teachers.
In Sunday School, elementary age children sing together then gather in grade-level classes for a developmentally appropriate lesson from the Deep Blue Kids Curriculum.
High School and Middle School youth groups meet for events and service projects throughout the year.
Adult Sunday School
Adult Sunday School meets year round in the Wesley Room at 9:30 for coffee and uses the Faithlink curriculum (copies provided on site, but to receive an emailed copy in advance contact the church office.) We also have many small groups involved in Bible study and faith development that meet throughout the week.
